NCID Staff

El Costanzo

Special Meetings and Events Planner

El offers vision and support for our virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, from creating run of shows, to selecting delectable victuals, and setting a tone that makes it evident to participants that they belong in the NCID community.

Prior to joining NCID, El worked in program management and community outreach in nonprofit and therapeutic settings as a Recreation Therapist and Youth Director. El is passionate about creating safe spaces and brings an embodied trauma informed approach to social justice and diversity, equity, and inclusion. They earned a B.A. in Psychology from Cedar Crest College where their undergraduate research was in Positive Psychology. They obtained a national sample to study well-being as it relates to the coming out process for the LGBTQIA+ community. El is finishing up their Master of Divinity degree from the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit where their study focuses on social justice and faith, as well as the theology of suffering. In their spare time El is a writer, a live music and vinyl lover, sports enthusiast, and joy seeker. El’s son Manny is the biggest deliverer of that joy.
