Anti-Racism Collaborative Postdoctoral Fellowship

NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Anti-Racism Collaborative partners with U-M diversity scholars and academic units to offer postdoctoral fellowships to early career scholars.

These fellowships are specifically designed for researchers whose anti-racism scholarship explicitly (1) recognizes how racism operates within and is reinforced by systems, institutions, policy, social forces, and throughout history, and (2) highlights the connection between anti-racism scholarship and continued efforts to challenge or dismantle systemic racism.

Priority is given to applicants who demonstrate strong potential for research collaboration with ongoing projects led by U-M faculty or academic units. To apply, candidates must submit a comprehensive development and mentoring plan that includes one or more U-M faculty mentors.

Fellows accepted into the program will receive a variety of professional development and networking opportunities to support their scholarly and professional growth. This includes access to a supportive environment that fosters collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange. The goal is to encourage research partnerships, contribute to ongoing projects, and actively contribute to the field of racial justice.
