Current Work
"My doctoral dissertation examined media and criminal justice perspectives of female and partnered homicide offenders using an integrated multiple method approach. The study combines analysis of archival data, news articles, court transcripts and interviews with lawyers along with statistical analysis of homicide trends.
I also completed a consultancy for the UNODC in Vienna. This project entailed assisting the Division of Policy Analysis and Public Affairs, Statistics and Surveys Section, with research for a global report on the crime of intentional homicide. The report provides in-depth analysis of homicide trends at national, regional and global levels.
I am currently an Associate Professor in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and Associate Director of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Norwich University, teaching research methods, courts, criminal violence, senior capstone, and the death penalty, and researching multicide offenders and victims."
