About
Catherine Schaefer is a graduate student in the Family Social Sciences department at the University of Minnesota. She also works with the National Center for Gender Spectrum Health, and is currently developing studies of gender identification in young children. Her main focus is development of gender from a family science lens.
Current Work
Catherine's work has spanned topics from executive function to cognitive gender development. She is currently working on a project examining different gender identification measures in young children, and a study of the cognitive relationship between memory and gender identification.
