Helen Kang Morgan, MD, is a clinical associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology and learning health sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is the director of the residency preparatory courses, comprehensive clinical assessment, and co-director of the Path of Excellence in the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching at the University of Michigan Medical School. She is also a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Undergraduate Medical Education Committee, and the Council for Residency Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Wellness Task Force. She graduated from Wellesley College, then attended medical school and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Michigan.
Current Work
Dr. Morgan's research in medical education has focused on improving learning through curricular innovation and rigorous assessment. One of her primary areas of focus has been on improving the continuum between medical school and residency, as well as the innovative use of technology.
