Lynn Videka is dean and the Carol A. Mowbray Collegiate Professor of the School of Social Work. Videka's research interests include integrated health services for people managing psychiatric disabilities, and for families and children served by public systems. Her research focuses on the prevention of child maltreatment; recovery approaches to services for psychiatric disabilities, including peer helping; and most recently, integrated health care services. She is a co-investigator for the Michigan School of Public Health Behavioral Health Workforce Research Center. She received her AM and PhD from the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration, and her BSN with honors from the University of Illinois College of Nursing.
Current Work
Videka studies the role of social work in integrated health care. She is currently developing a new study of peer helping for people with psychiatric disabilities in the context of integrated health care.
