Dr. Jenkins is a scholar-practitioner with research interest in college/adult learning experiences in the South, specifically around race and gender. He has over 8 years experience in college administration, mostly in student affairs (campus housing, leadership programming, and academic support).
Current Work
Dr. Jenkins is currently developing two research projects. The first is an autoethnography on his experiences as a Black cisgender male in secondary and post-secondary education in the South. The second project is on academic experiences of African American males with less than a year of undergraduate education.
