Dr. Ezekiel Kimball is a Professor of Higher Education and the Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Teacher Education at the University of Maine. An expert on the identity development and postsecondary success trajectories of minoritized student populations, his publications have appeared in the Journal of College Student Development, Review of Higher Education, Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, and Higher Education: Handbook of Theory and Research.
Current Work
Dr. Kimball's current work examines the college-going and within-college experiences of minoritized students. His current projects include a multi-institutional study of the STEM experiences of postsecondary students with minoritized sexual and gender identities (supported by ACPA College Student Educators International and NASPA Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education); an examination of a community-university partnership intended to broaden the STEM participation of young women (funded by the National Science Foundation: Award #1834897); and an analysis of college-going pathways for students with disabilities (funded by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education).
