Raquel Muñiz, JD, PhD, is an assistant professor of law and education policy at the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College, as well as an Assistant Professor (by courtesy) at the Law School.
Current Work
Dr. Muñiz is a socio-legal scholar who focuses on critically examining educational equity for students who have experienced substantial adversity throughout their lives. Her research examines two broad areas: the implications of law and policies on the education system; and the use of social science evidence in the legal system and public policy decision-making process.
