About
Mohammad Hosseini is a postdoctoral researcher in research ethics and integrity at Northwestern University and an associate editor of the journal of Accountability in Research. Born in Tehran, he received his BA in Management (Eindhoven, 2013) MA in Applied Ethics (Utrecht, 2016) and completed his PhD in Research Ethics and Integrity (Dublin, 2021), where he also served as a guest lecturer in ethics.
Motivated by the interdisciplinary nature and broad application of research ethics, in his work Mohammad has explored issues that affect all scholarly fields, such as recognizing contributions in academic publications, citations and publication ethics and gender issues in academia. His current research is focused on the ethics of employing artificial intelligence in research.
Current Work
Dr. Hosseini's scholarship explores modern attitudes to scholarly authorship and contributions, intersections of technology and ethics, and gender/diversity issues.
