About
José Causadias has been an assistant professor at the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics since 2015. He received his bachelor's in psychology from Universidad Santa María La Antigua in Panama in 2001 and his master's in psychotherapy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain in 2003. In 2014, he received a doctorate in child psychology from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Current Work
Culture has a central role in his training and personal life. Because participating in different cultural and academic communities has been so enriching to him, Dr. Causadias has become enamored with the benefits of connecting different methods, theories, and ideas related to culture. He is passionate about integrating research on culture, development, and health.
