Elyzza M. Aparicio is a PhD candidate in the Center for Study of Higher Education at The Pennsylvania State University. She holds a Master's in Science in Student Development in Higher Education from California State University, Long Beach, a BA in Literatures in English from the University of California, San Diego, and an AA in English from Cerritos College. She is currently a California State University Chancellor's Doctoral Fellow and also the Associate Director of The Office of Undergraduate Research Services at California State University, Long Beach.
Current Work
Elyzza M. Aparicio researches underrepresented racial/ethnic groups and their degree aspirations. Her dissertation explores the role of undergraduate research experience on degree aspirations for underrepresented racial/ethnic groups at an earlier time point in their academic pathway.
