Current Work
The ways that organizations use resources can have a drastic effect on the improved social outcomes policy makers often desire. Jason's research uses organizational economics to explore the efficiency of public and nonprofit organizations, including revisiting nuances and myths about what kinds of organizations (public, nonprofit, for profit) we ask to serve marginalized communities. His current work has included findings in different policy dimensions, including the positive effect of federal funding on nonprofit organizations, and the important role of public transit agencies in improving community health.
