Current Work
Lindsay is broadly interested in discrimination from three perspectives: that of the perpetrators, targets, and bystanders. She is currently working to identify the predictors of bias among health care providers and to design interventions to change these prejudicial attitudes. She further has several ongoing projects identifying the barriers that prevent bystanders from intervening when they witness discrimination targeting minority groups and ways to resolve these barriers. Finally, Lindsay is also interested in identifying and reducing sources of stress for employees, particularly the unique sources of stress experienced by minority employees.
