Current Work
Currently, Reavis (with Dr. Kelly E. Slay) is launching a new research project which seeks to examine Black students’ college choice pathways and enrollment decisions amid the pervasive racial barriers and disruptions caused by COVID-19. Reavis's most recent scholarship uses critical theoretical methods such as Black Feminist Thought and Critical Oral History to conceptualize Black women's pathways through higher education.
