Dr. Moyo has published several articles addressing social development issues in southern Africa, interrogating racism in human services, every day violence and social change. Her articles have been published by Feminist Economics, Social Development Issues, International Social Work, and the Journal of Progressive Human Services. Her first book is titled: Trampled No More: Voices from Bulawayo's Townships about Families, Life, Survival and Social Change in Zimbabwe. Dr. Moyo is currently working on her second book understanding perspectives and expressions of Ubuntu as part of indigenous community building.Her current research focuses on the experience of African immigrants in the United States and United Kingdom. Dr. Moyo is currently an editorial collective member of the Journal of Progressive Human Services (JPHS). She has worked in natural resources management as a project monitoring and evaluation officer; a public scholar in community-building efforts with new immigrants, indigenous communities, and youth.
