Driven by a desire to support older adults age with dignity and choice, her scholarly interests highlight the experiences of Southeast Asian (SEA) older adults. Her current research activities include (1) a project exploring intergenerational communication about COVID-19 in Hmong families and (2) projects investigating discrimination and resilience on the health of Asian and Asian American older adults.
