Dr. Kristan Venegas is an assistant dean for strategic initiatives and evaluation and a professor of clinical education at USC Rossier. She is a research affiliate in the Pullias Center for Higher Education and the USC Center for Race and Equity. She is an expert and researcher in the areas of college preparation and planning, higher education, financial aid policy and college advising.
Current Work
Dr. Kristan Venegas' most recently funded research focuses on student services for undocumented students at a community college in Southern California. Her research seeks to understand the ways in which undocumented students utilize different support services as a means to persist and complete their academic goals.
