Margaux Cowden is visiting assistant professor in the Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies program at Williams College. She received a PhD in comparative literature, with specializations in feminist studies and critical theory, from the University of California, Irvine. Her work investigates sexuality and science in transatlantic modernist literature and culture.
Current Work
Dr. Cowden's current book project maps the convergence of modernist literature, sexual science, and human geography, exploring the ways in which modernist appropriations of geography generate queer frameworks for sexuality, pleasure, and reproduction.
