About
I have conducted educational research focusing on higher education and early education settings for over ten years now. My research interests include the research, policy, and practice intersections in assuring the quality of education services and preparing the workforce. As an immigrant scholar in the international context, I have worked in various universities as a researcher and lecturer.
Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in an NSF-granted project: Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate - North Carolina (AGEP-NC) Alliance. This grant focuses on an institutional change model in higher education settings. Specifically, it aims to promote better mentoring of historically underrepresented STEM doctoral students as they transition to academia.
