Current Work
My scholarship is centered on the intersection of college men, masculinity, and student success. Masculinity is a complex concept for college students to unpack especially as it relates to both development and socialization. I am focused on how masculinity encourages or prevents cis-gender college males from engaging in certain behaviors such as community engagement. Additional research interests focus on college men engaged in counter narrative work as it relates to identity and meaning-making.
