Current Work
Henry Kwan focuses on promoting health equity and equality. For example, his research work "Broadening Access to Covid-19 drugs" in UPenn's Regulatory Review analysed how certain groups, e.g. those who cannot travel due to age, disability or affordability, are prevented from effective access to Covid-19 drugs.
His global health research draws from inter-disciplinary angles, such as law (including the human right to health), comparative public policy, public health, cultural understanding and differences, etc. His work have been cited by the Brazilian Health Authority (ANVISA) and in peer-reviewed journal.
Henry particularly cares about public health education which is pivotal to promoting equality. He believes that groups should not be left out just because of inadequate access to information.
His expertise is constantly developing, and he focus on aligning law, business, health, public policy and ESG.
