Current Work
Recent scholarship has focused on organizational and leadership practices as experienced by under-represented communities , including Black and Asian-Americans. I am currently working on two projects. The first is looking at the public health impact of a rescheduling of cannabis from a schedule 1 to a schedule 3 drug. I am the lead qualitative researcher for this project and we are exploring traffic safety implications. Current research in this area lacks diverse voices and traffic safety (i.e., stops) is an area that disproportionately harms Black drivers. A second project is around psychological training to prepare practitioners for climate change trauma with specific emphasis on working with climate injustice related to race and ethnicity.
