About
During my Graduate Medical Education training years in Michigan, I was part of various research/QI projects and was also an active member of the Resident Quality and Safety Committee at MSU-CHM Ascension Providence Hospital. I have successfully presented research poster publications at Institutional Research competitions as well at the ACOG Michigan Section Resident Research in the past over consecutive years. During my second year of residency in Michigan, I was the principal investigator in a retrospective clinical study that I carried out with a cohort of MSU medical students that ended up in a poster presentation.
During my time in India, I remotely completed a 1-year postgraduate course from Harvard Medical School – “Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program” that taught me how to bring to fruition a research idea through various research methodologies, analyze data and critique the current literature.
Current Work
My last two years as a resident at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital has provided me the opportunity to spearhead Quality Improvement projects addressing adult depression screening, perinatal mood disorders, intimate partner violence, colorectal cancer screening and most recently advocating for resident well-being.
