Current Work
My research is to understand the emotions of queer, non-binary, and transgender English language teachers and leaders in and beyond the classroom space. By drawing upon Chican feminism, Vietnamese Buddhism, and quantum physics, I am weaving my personal experience as a Vietnamese queer educator and leader to connect and understand emotions of teachers and leaders at a very deep, multi-dimensional level. My upcoming projects are building allyship awareness and actions in Africa (i.e., Mauritius) and Global South countries (i.e., Vietnam, Brazil) and working with leaders to create an equitable, accessible, and respectful approach to support LGBTQ+ teachers and leaders in and beyond academia.
