Karen Perham-Lippman has nearly 15 years-experience implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); environmental, social, and governance (ESG); and corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies globally across diverse sectors and organizational contexts. She is an award-winning executive, community leader, public speaker, and published author.
Karen has taught business, communications, and organizational leadership as an adjunct professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels and recently served two consecutive terms on Colorado’s Business Experiential Learning Commission by governor appointment. She is a Certified Diversity Professional and holds a certification in designing equitable courses from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). She is a PhD candidate in organizational leadership at Eastern University and has been published on Forbes.com, Ethics International Press, Emerald Publishing, Merits International Journal, and SAGE Publishing.
Current Work
Karen Perham-Lippman's research and publishing span the areas of corporate board diversity, gender, leadership, mental health, workplace loneliness, and (DEIBA) diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Her writing appears on Forbes.com and Senior Executive, and she has published with Emerald Publishing, Ethics International Press, Merits International Journal, and SAGE Publishing.
Karen has co-edited and co-authored books including Inclusive Leadership: Equity and Belonging in our Communities and Overcoming Workplace Loneliness: Cultivating Belonging for a Remote Workforce. Her next project is a co-edited book in collaboration with Emerald Publishing titled Bridging Generations: Transformative Intergenerational Leadership and Followership, which will explore the power of intergenerational leadership and followership to transform organizations, communities, and address critical societal challenges and is scheduled to be published in Spring 2026.
