The National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID) is looking for an Inclusive History Project Program Coordinator to join our team.
The NCID is home to the Inclusive History Project (IHP), a multi-year presidential initiative designed to study and document a comprehensive history of the University of Michigan that is attentive to diversity, equity, and inclusion and stretches across its three campuses and Michigan Medicine. The IHP aims to engage the entire university and neighboring communities to understand better the institution's full history, including its record of inclusion and exclusion, and to consider what actions history demands in the present.
The IHP Program Coordinator will provide administrative, programmatic, and events coordination support for IHP activities. Under the guidance and management of the senior project manager, you will be an important member of the IHP team and will perform tasks such as coordinating meetings, tracking expenses, planning events, supporting projects, and handling communications.
You will have a background in project management, research management, academic programming, event planning, and administrative support.
This is a 2-year term-limited position with the possibility of renewal.
This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, and is hybrid, with you working remotely and on-site.
