A video toolkit on how to improve the work we're doing to improve the public good by addressing racism and sexism in these trying times. The goal of this toolkit is to help students, faculty, and journal reviewers and editors think about what are the standards we should use to evaluate our own work, improve social science, and influence policy in schools, prisons, and nonprofits to achieve a better society.
This video toolkit is the product of an interdisciplinary convening of scholars from across the United States, including NCID director Elizabeth R. Cole. The convening was organized by Frank Fernandez, associate professor of higher education administration and affiliate faculty in the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Florida and member of the Diversity Scholars Network. The event was hosted by Prof. Bonnie Moradi and the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at University of Florida. It was brought to you by funding from the Spencer Foundation and the University of Florida's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Education, and Office of Research.
