Jennifer Junkermeier-Khan (she/hers) is the inaugural manager of engagement for the Inclusive History Project (IHP). In this role, she provides leadership in designing, coordinating, and implementing a range of engagement activities for the IHP that expand the project’s visibility, promote co-creation with community partners, and deepen participation in the IHP mission.

Jennifer is a curator, public programmer, writer, educator, and project manager based in Detroit. She is the co-founding editor of Infinite Mile, a Detroit-based journal of art and culture, and has worked in non-profit art and cultural organizations and museums in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Detroit, East Lansing, and New York. Jennifer holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management and Museum Studies as well as a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Studies from Michigan State University. Before joining IHP, she served as the Outreach and Public Engagement Coordinator at Stamps Gallery, part of the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design, where she worked on all aspects of outreach and public programming, ranging from the implementation of community and audience-building initiatives with a focus on diversity and inclusivity to the development of artist-created events, lectures and conversations, gallery talks, and symposia both in and outside the gallery.
